Schaumburg Illinois is a suburban village in the Chicago metropolitan area. Schaumburg is home to the Woodfield mall, an Ikea store, and many other stores and restaurants. Schaumburg has an estimated service area population of about 75,000, however due to the village being located in the Chicago metro area, the exact population is unknown due to tourists and other travelers. The Schaumburg patch was picked up from the Police Department late March, and was one of the very first patches added to our collection.
